Debbie, I wish I could take credit for the skip or run technique; but it's all my partner. He mostly picks skips! And then he's always looking back to make sure we are skipping too -- only form of cardio we ever get these days! lol Thank you so much! There's a saying, the days are long, but the years are short. I can tell you this is absolutely true. My youngest baby graduated high school yesterday and is going off to college in the fall. Just a moment ago he was so excited to ride the school bus just like his big brother. It's a long, hard road, parenting is. But so full of joy, love, tears, and more love.

It's baffling. For you, I'm sure kindergarten seems eons away. One day they want uppy and the next day they want the car keys. I know it's cliche, but enjoy every moment, even those moments when you are covered in poop or vomit. Because those days are limited. It's SO HARD when they are small, but it's a different kind of hard when they are ready to fly away.
This was like getting confetti in my inbox this morning. Happy birthday Myles. And happy birth day to your wife and you! It really does fly by, you're not alone in the mind-boggling passage of time. <3

When time is flying by I look to be “present” and in the moment. Reminding myself that the current experience will happen only once. That’ll usually cement the experience and memory into my psyche allowing me to enjoy it even more.
