As always, I love hearing these stories.

Thank you, Bridget!

That's it, the hard, the frustration, but you got through it by prioritizing your son over the time. It won't always be hard like this, but when love matters more than being on time, everyone wins. Well done!

Everyone wins! Amen and amen !

Ahhhhhh.... the memories! I pray that the God in heaven keeps you from the " I can feel the seam in my sock" tragedy.

Soon you'll have different problems to deal with, Marc. Kids are a variety pack of issues. I'm sure you'll relish them all, despite how challenging they can be.

The things I love most about these letters is moments like these that are universal for all parents. My twins are teenagers, yet when I read this, I time traveled to the time in my life when they were both so stubborn about their pants and skirts! And at the age of two it always happened when we were running late and had less than five minutes to get out the door! This made me laugh. I love your family.

Oh yes, Reda! I’ve been thinking so much lately how I’m not my best self when it’s time for us to go somewhere. Less patient and less kind. Something I’m working through. Who knew parenting was going to be such a mirror.

Yes! To the exhausted and blessed at once!!

My toddler niece the other day wanted to follow her older sister around a jungle gym. She was able to keep up until this one, particularly difficult climb to a slide. She completely refused help. And the other children, not high on patience, simply started crawling over her. She was in this net like thing just below them. In frustration, she started pulling off their socks and biting them (the socks, not the kids). My sister had to spend some time pairing socks with kids.
