I love this essay. Seeing that video of Myles hitting then running to the base is magical. May you keep that magic alive.

Coaching is hard. I coached my youngest in lacrosse for 6 years. I told them every season, I don't care if we win, I don't care if we lose. What I care about is that you try your hardest and have fun. And we did! And the kids gained the skills they needed to play and have fun.

My Myles joined a run club this year and Zöe started gymnastics. My tags along for both practices lol

I love this, Marc! I love watching my son play little league (though it sounds more low-key in Brooklyn!) and watching my husband help coach the team. So fun to see Myles grow! It's truly a delight to see of children's talents develop before our very eyes!
